The 2026/27 Colts Football Season is set to be officially launched on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram.
The ceremony, scheduled to begin at 3:00pm, will bring together key figures within Ghana’s football administration and juvenile football system as preparations get underway for the new campaign.
Chairmen of all Regional Football Associations (RFAs) are expected to be present at the event, together with members of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Executive Council and the National Juvenile Committee.
The launch will serve as an opportunity for football authorities and other stakeholders to outline their vision for the upcoming season while renewing their commitment to strengthening juvenile football and grassroots development across the country.
The Colts competition continues to play an important role in Ghana’s football development structure, providing a platform where young players can be identified, monitored and nurtured before making the transition into organised competitive football.
This year’s ceremony will also mark the fifth consecutive season in which the Colts Football Season has been officially launched and subsequently completed.
With the new campaign approaching, the GFA is expected to use the occasion to communicate its plans and priorities as stakeholders prepare for another season aimed at discovering and developing the next generation of Ghanaian football talents.
The launch at Prampram will therefore signal the beginning of another important chapter in Ghana’s grassroots football calendar.
