Nottingham Forest join race for Abdul Aziz Issah’s signature

Premier League club Nottingham Forest has entered the race to sign Aziz Issah, the talented attacking midfielder from Dreams FC, according to reports in the Ghanaian media. At just 18 years old, Issah has attracted considerable interest with his standout performances throughout the season.

His impressive displays during Dreams FC’s journey to the semi-finals of the CAF Confederation Cup showcased his goal-scoring ability and playmaking skills, with four goals and two assists in the competition. Moreover, Issah played a crucial role in Ghana’s Under-20 team securing a gold medal at the African Games hosted in Ghana.

Amid speculation surrounding Fatawu Issahaku’s potential move to Leicester City, Sporting Lisbon sees Issah as a viable replacement. Meanwhile, Nottingham Forest is keen on strengthening its squad with promising young talents, particularly after their recent promotion to the Premier League.

However, Nottingham Forest faces competition not only from Sporting Lisbon but also from top African clubs like Al Ahly and Zamalek from Egypt, both of whom have expressed serious interest in signing Issah.

As various clubs compete for his signature, the battle to secure Issah’s services is expected to be fiercely contested.
