WAFU Zone B President Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku embarked on a diplomatic mission to Ivory Coast, where he met with the newly appointed Executive Director, Philippe Tchere. The meeting, held in the vibrant city of Abidjan, marked the first official encounter between the two leaders since Tchere assumed his new role.
Simeon-Okraku, who doubles as the President of the Ghana Football Association, extended a warm welcome to Tchere, emphasizing the importance of collaboration and unity within the WAFU Zone B community.
The meeting provided an opportunity for the President and the Executive Director to discuss their shared vision for advancing football across the region.
Tchere, who brings a wealth of experience and fresh perspectives to his role, expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to serve WAFU Zone B and outlined his commitment to building upon the foundation laid by his predecessor, Boureima Balima.
