Black Stars Winger Kamaldeen Sulemana secures Premier League promotion with Southampton

Ghanaian international winger,  Kamaldeen Sulemana and Southampton are back in the English Premier League next season after beating Leeds United 1-0 to secure promotion back to English Premier League on Sunday at Wembly.

The Saints will join Leicester City and Ipswich Town as the three teams to be promoted back to the top flight of English football.

Southampton defeated Leeds United 1-0 in the Championship Playoffs final at Wembley Stadium on Sunday through Endlish talisman Adam Armstrong who score a brilliant and calm goal after just 24 minutes in the game to make a quick return to the Premier League.

Although, the Black Stars winger was on the bench and could not feature in the game, but his contribution to the club toward promotion cannot be overlooked.

The 22-year-old Ghanaian attacker was limited to just 26 appearances in the Championship due to injury setbacks, providing three assists across the period.

Sulemana joined the Saints in January 2023 from Stade Rennes, signing a contract that will keep him at the club until 2027.
