The World Dream is still alive

The Black Stars of Ghana are determined to keep their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification dreams alive as they prepare to for the Central African Republic in a crucial Group I encounter.

Ghana’s campaign in the World Cup qualifiers has been hate-love affair with the fans, with one win and one loss in their opening two matches. The Black Stars kicked off their journey with a narrow 1-0 win over Madagascar in Kumasi but were then handed a 1-0 defeat by Comoros in Moroni.

Ghana’s hard-fought 2-1 win in Bamako against Mali on Thuesday night clash has put them back on the winning track. Ernest Nuamah’s 58th-minute strike and a late, late goal by Jordan Ayew in the 90+4 minute ensured the away side’s triumph at the Stade du 26 Mars.

Ghana plays CAR on Monday 10th June, 2024 at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.
