“Support should be unwavering” – Otto Addo ahead of CAR game

Ghana coach, Otto Addo, is rallying support from Ghanaians ahead of the Black Stars’ crucial match against the Central African Republic at the Baba Yara Stadium.

Addo is urging fans to fill the stadium with unwavering support as the team takes on their opponents in Kumasi on Monday at 19:00 GMT for the fourth match of the 2026 World Cup qualifying series.

He stressed the important role the passionate fans played in boosting the team to success, leading to their triumph over the Super Eagles and securing a spot in the World Cup.

“I was truly overwhelmed by the support we received last time we played here. It exceeded my expectations,” Addo expressed during a pre-match conference on Sunday.

“Support should be unwavering, irrespective of the outcome, and Kumasi has consistently demonstrated this loyalty.”

“Even in challenging times, I have no doubt that our fans will stand by us,” he added.

Ghana are currently  third spot in Group I, a victory over CAR could propel them to the top temporarily, setting the stage for a thrilling encounter.

The match will be played at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Monday 10th June at 7:00 Local Time.
