The second group games of the Inter Tribes Football Gala recorded some interesting results.
A thrilling match week with surprises, comebacks, and intense battles. The competition is heating up as we enter the last group stage games.
Only Kanjaga and Gonja have recorded victories in their first two games ahead of match week three.
Meanwhile the likes of Songhai, Hausa and Wangara will need to win their last game in order to stand a chance of making it to the stage.
In Group A:
Frafra kept their hopes alive with a 1-0 win over Songhai in a closely contested match. Last year finalist, Songhai are without a point after two games.
Meanwhile Kanjaga continued their surprised start by defeating Yoruba 1-0 to seal their qualifications to the next stage
*Group B:*
Ewe came back from a goal down to surprise Dagomba with a 2-1 win.
Whiles Banda and Gurma shared the spoils in a thrilling 2-2 draw to keep their hopes alive.
In Group C:
Hausa and Zabarma played out a goalless draw which put Zabarma in a pole position to qualify after a win in their first game.
Wangara and Buzaaye also ended their match in a 0-0 stalemate ahead of their final group games.
In Group D:
Moshie and Kotokoli shared the spoils in a pulsating 1-1 draw to seal their qualification to the next stage.
Where as Waala edged out Mamprushi 2-1 in a tight contest to brighten their chance of making it to the next stage.
*Group E:*
Fulani maintained their unbeaten start with a 1-1 draw against Fante.
Whiles Gonja made it two wins in two games by trashing Yadegawaa 3-0 to seal their qualifications
*Group F:*
Chokosi scored late to draw against Asante in a pulsating 2-2 draw.
Whiles Bissa and Gurunshi/Sissala shared the points in a 1-1 draw ahead of the group game
