Ghana defender Nicholas Opoku handed a first start for new club Kasimpasa

Ghana defender, Nicholas Opoku is making his debut for Kasimpasa today, Monday, August 19.

The defender has been named in the starting eleven of his new club for their game against Hatayspor in the Turkish Super Lig.

The centre-back hopes to impress on his debut and establish a place for himself in the starting eleven of his new club.

 

Nicholas Opoku, 26, only joined Kasimpasa today and was unveiled by the club to strengthen the team’s squad.

He joined Kasimpasa on a free transfer following his departure from the French Ligue 2 team Amiens SC after three seasons with them.

“Our new transfer, Nicholas Opoku, after undergoing medical checks at our health sponsor Liv Hospital Vadi İstanbul, signed a contract that binds him to our team Kasımpaşa during a signing ceremony held at Turgay Ciner Sports Facilities,” Kasimpasa said in a statement.
