Kudus is a better footballer than Vinicius Jr – Former Hearts Of Oak winger Charles Taylor

Former Ghana international Charles Taylor has sparked a nationwide debate saying West Ham United star Mohammed Kudus is a superior footballer to Real Madrid’s Vinicius Jr.

Kudus, who had a great debut season with the Hammers, scoring 14 goals and providing six assists, has been hailed by the former Hearts of Oak star as a more exceptional talent.

His record-breaking dribbles against Chelsea and his pivotal role in West Ham’s Europa League run have solidified his reputation.

While Vinicius Jr. played a key role in Real Madrid’s La Liga and Champions League triumphs, Taylor believes Kudus possesses a higher level of skill.

Taylor, who also played for Asante Kotoko, attributes this to the perceived lack of belief in Ghanaian players and the subpar playing conditions in the Ghanaian league.

“Kudus is a better footballer than Vinicius Jr. If Kudus were to be at Real Madrid, he’d have been the main man in the team,” Taylor said on Angel TV.

“The quality that Kudus displays, Vinicius doesn’t match up but it’s because we don’t believe in our own players and the lack of quality pitches here.”

The former Ghana Premier League top scorer, known for his time at Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko, has long been a respected figure in Ghanaian football.
