Vision FC technical director, Annor Walker, is set to make good on a bold promise made ahead of his team’s clash with Hearts of Oak. In an interview with Original FM’s sports host, Gideon Okyere Anim, popularly known as Gatuso, Coach Walker confidently declared that Vision FC would score two goals within the first 25 minutes of the game.
So confident was the experienced gaffer that he promised to hand over his personal car to the presenter if his prediction failed.
However, things didn’t go quite as planned for the tactician. The match ended in a 1-1 draw, with Vision FC managing just a single goal — an equalizer scored by Meschack Sowah Adjetey in the 41st minute, well past the 25-minute mark.
With the challenge unmet, all eyes are now on Monday, when Coach Walker is expected to officially hand over the car to Gatuso at the Original FM premises.
The football community has reacted with amusement and respect, praising Annor Walker for standing by his word. While Vision FC couldn’t claim victory on the pitch, Coach Walker’s integrity off the field is earning him plaudits.
