The Parliament of Ghana has declared its full support for the strategic partnership between the Ghana Football Association (GFA) and Adesa Productions Limited (APL), a move expected to transform football media and content production in the country.
Speaking at the launch of the partnership, Majority Leader, Hon. Mahama Ayariga, praised the initiative as a forward-looking model that integrates media production, private sector investment, and football development in a sustainable framework.

“The new model being introduced which links production, private sector partnerships and club development, is an initiative Parliament is proud to support,” he said.
He emphasized that the project goes beyond mere content creation to align with the broader national development agenda. “It aligns with our national aspirations and reflects a commitment to innovation, accountability and inclusivity,” Hon. Ayariga added.
The GFA-Adesa partnership will see Adesa Productions take charge of the production and distribution of content related to Ghanaian football, including league matches, features, and documentaries—marking a significant shift in how Ghana football is marketed and consumed.
Hon. Ayariga reaffirmed Parliament’s willingness to provide legislative backing where needed, adding that football remains a powerful tool for economic growth and social inclusion.
The GFA leadership has welcomed the endorsement from Parliament, calling it a major boost as they seek to elevate the brand and structure of Ghana football through partnerships rooted in innovation and sustainability.
