Vision FC continued their good run of form in the Ghana Premier League with a 3-1 victory over Berekum Chelsea at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Park.
The win extended Vision FC’s unbeaten streak to six matches, with the team delivering a strong second-half performance to secure maximum points on home soil.
Setsofia Aqetey scored a second-half brace, while Ibrahim Larbi also got on the scoresheet to complete the victory for the hosts. Berekum Chelsea managed a late consolation goal through Vincent Klu Adjei, but it was not enough to change the outcome.
Reacting after the match, Vision FC coach Nana Kwaku Agyemang praised the defensive organisation of the opposition, especially during the first half.
“Chelsea were disciplined in the first half, which made it extremely difficult for us to create openings,” he said.
The coach added that his players showed patience in breaking down the opponent’s defensive structure.
“Overall, I want to praise my boys. I believe they now understand the blueprint, they’ve recognized the talent they possess and now believe they can go anywhere and grind out results,” he stated.
The result helps Vision FC strengthen their position in the league standings, while Berekum Chelsea remain under pressure near the relegation zone.
