Antoine Semenyo has set his sights on victory as the Ghana national football team prepare to face Austria national football team in an international friendly.
The Black Stars will take on the European side on March 27 at the Ernst Happel Stadium as part of their preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Speaking ahead of the clash, the Manchester City FC forward made it clear the team is focused on securing a positive result.
“Hopefully, I’m expecting a win. We want to make a statement — we are preparing for the World Cup, so hopefully a win,” he said.
Kick-off for the match is scheduled for 17:00 GMT, with Ghana aiming to build momentum ahead of the global tournament.
Following the Austria fixture, the Black Stars will travel to Stuttgart to face Germany national football team on March 30 in another high-profile friendly.
Ghana are determined to make a strong impression at the upcoming World Cup, which will be hosted by United States, Canada, and Mexico, as they look to move beyond recent group-stage exits.
