Otto Addo has warned his players against complacency, insisting full focus must remain on Austria national football team ahead of their friendly encounter.
The Ghana coach pointed to recent international tournaments as proof that modern football leaves no room for underestimating opponents.
“We saw it at the last World Cup that there’s no team to be underrated,” he said.
Addo emphasised that his side is concentrating solely on the Austria clash rather than looking ahead to future fixtures, including the upcoming game against Germany national football team.
“For us, it’s full focus on Austria. We want to win every match we play. We analysed them well and we know what to do,” he added.
The Black Stars will face Austria on Friday at 17:00 GMT before travelling to Stuttgart for their next test, as preparations intensify ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
