Aduana FC secured a place in the semi-finals of the MTN FA Cup after a convincing 3-0 victory over Techiman Liberty Youth FC on Saturday.
The Ghana Premier League side proved too strong for their Division One opponents at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park, delivering a disciplined and clinical performance to keep their cup dreams alive.
Aduana broke the deadlock in the 39th minute when striker Daouda Ben Sidibe finished off a well-worked move to give the Fire Club the lead before halftime.
The hosts maintained their dominance after the break and extended their advantage in the 81st minute through Alex Boakye, whose strike effectively sealed the outcome of the contest.
Emanuel Marfo added further gloss to the scoreline deep into stoppage time, scoring in the 90+2 minute to wrap up an emphatic win for the Dormaa-based club.
The victory sends Aduana into the last four of the competition, where they will face the winner of the quarter-final tie between Nations FC and Berekum Chelsea FC.
Aduana’s strong form continues across competitions, as the Fire Club also remain firmly in contention in the Ghana Premier League, sitting five points behind leaders Medeama SC with nine matches left to play.
