Sources close to the Black Stars search committee have exclusively revealed to sokacenta.com that Medeama’s Ibrahim Tanko, Black Stars current assistant coach Godwin Attram, and Kim Lars Björkegren will be handed the task to play Somalia on interim basis.
The three strong gaffers are set to be in the dugouts for Ghana’s senior men’s national team’s next round of 2027 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers in November.
Kim Lars, who originally leads the Black Queens, has a duty, alongside the duo, to pick Ghana’s first six points in the qualifiers.
Black Stars has lost its first two opening qualifying matches against Côte d’Ivoire and The Gambia.
The gaffers are expected to oversee the home-and-away double-header against Somalia set for November 11 and 14, 2026.
The Ghana Football Association will have a spare time, alongside the five-member coaching search committee, to name a substantive coach for the senior national team to take over from next year.
