Ghanaian defender Clinton Dombila has taken the next step in his European career after completing a free transfer to Armenian giants FC Noah.
The 21-year-old right-back joins the reigning Armenian heavyweights following the expiration of his contract with fellow Fastex Premier League club FC Ararat Yerevan, where he spent the last three seasons.
Dombila leaves Ararat after establishing himself as one of the league’s most dependable full-backs, earning praise for his defensive discipline, pace and ability to contribute in attack.
The former JMG Academy graduate enjoyed a standout 2024/25 campaign, winning the club’s Player of the Season award after a series of impressive performances.
Although injuries disrupted his progress during the 2025/26 season, he still featured 17 times in all competitions, including 15 appearances in the Armenian Premier League.
During his time at Ararat, Dombila made 65 appearances across the club’s senior and reserve teams, providing three assists while developing into one of Ghana’s promising young defenders abroad.
His move to FC Noah offers the opportunity to compete for major honours, with the club expected to challenge for the Armenian Premier League title and participate in European competitions.
The transfer represents another important milestone in Dombila’s development as he looks to establish himself at one of Armenia’s biggest clubs and continue his rise in European football.
