The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has officially conducted the draw for the 2026 Division One League Super Cup, with eight clubs learning their group-stage opponents ahead of the pre-season tournament at the Len Clay Stadium in Obuasi.
Sponsored by X1 Energy Drink, the competition will feature some of the standout teams from the Division One League as they fine-tune preparations for the 2026/27 season. The tournament will also offer clubs an opportunity to assess their squads in a competitive environment before the new campaign begins.
Newly promoted Ghana Premier League side Debibi United headline Group A, where they have been drawn alongside Port City FC, Cape Coast Ebusua Dwarfs and Attram De Visser FC. In Group B, FC AshantiGold 04 will battle Tamale City FC, Semper Fi FC and Nsuopon Fidelity FC for a place in the knockout stage.
The top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals, with the eventual finalists competing for the Division One League Super Cup title in what is expected to be a fiercely contested tournament.
Beyond the silverware, the competition is expected to serve as an important platform for clubs to build momentum ahead of the new season while giving fans an early look at some of the country’s emerging talents and newly assembled squads.
