Ghanaian defender Denis Odoi is on the verge of joining Royal Antwerp FC from Club Brugge when his contract expires at the end of this month in a deal that is said to be in its advanced stages.
The player and the club have reportedly reached an agreement on personal terms and once the transfer is finalized, Odoi will don the number 6 jersey at Royal Antwerp.
The 36 year-old defender is scheduled to undergo medical tests with Royal Antwerp in the coming week.
While he didn’t feature prominently for Club Brugge in the recently concluded season, he played a crucial role towards the end.
Denis Odoi made 24 appearances in the league, with only ten of those as a starter.
Despite limited playing time, he managed to find the back of the net twice, showcasing his ability to make an impact when given the opportunity.
