Head coach of Dreams FC, Winfred Dormon, says his team is preparing for a difficult encounter as they get ready to face Heart of Lions in the quarter-finals of the MTN FA Cup.
The two Ghana Premier League sides will meet on Sunday at the Cape Coast Stadium, with a place in the semi-finals of the competition at stake.
Speaking ahead of the match in an interview with Dreams FC TV, Dormon acknowledged that his side expects a challenging contest against the Kpando-based club.
“We expect a very difficult challenge,” he said.
The coach also reflected on the teams’ previous meetings this season, noting that both sides have already recorded victories against each other in the league campaign.
“In the league, we went there and lost 1-0. That was painful. But in the second meeting, we won 3-0. So we know what they’re capable of, and they know what we can do.”
Despite recognising the threat posed by Heart of Lions, Dormon remains confident his players can deliver a positive result if they perform to their potential.
“We have to be optimistic but also cautious. We believe in the players we have. We believe we can go to Cape Coast, play our game, and win.”
The quarter-final clash is scheduled to kick off at 3:00 PM, with both teams hoping to move one step closer to lifting the FA Cup trophy.
