Following Laryea Kingston’s resignation as head coach of the Black Starlets, first assistant coach of the team Nana Agyemang will take over the team, sokacenta can exclusively reveal.
Nana Agyemang will be supported by Jacob Nettey and goalkeepers coach Kevin Agyeman to prepare the team for Tuesday’s game.
Head coach Laryea Kingston announced his resignation on Saturday after the Black Starlets’ defeat to Burkina Faso and jumped off the team bus, leaving the team after the game.
The team went to their hotel without Laryea Kingston and was also absent during the management meeting with the team as well as the technical meeting with the players.
Laryea also failed to show up during the team’s recovery training on Sunday morning at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Nana Agyemang will lead the preparation of the team for the game against Nigeria on Tuesday in the fight for the bring medal.
