Black Stars midfielder Amankwah Forson has joined English Championship side Norwich City in the summer transfer window.
The former West African Football Academy midfielder signed a four-year deal with the option of an adding one year to join the Championship side from Red Bull Salzburg.
The 21 year-old midfielder moved to the Austrian giants in 2021 from West Africa Football Academy after an impressive form.
“I’m really happy and excited to come to the club,” he said after signing the deal.
“The head coach has worked before with so many young players, it’s really nice to be here working with him.”
The 21-year-old will wear the number 18 jersey at Carrow Road.
Forson made his Ghana debut in March 2024, impressing in the defeat to Nigeria in Morocco and has since been a part of the team. He was part of the squad for the back-to-back victories in the World Cup qualifiers in June.
