The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has released the shortlist for the February Ghana Premier League Player of the Month award, featuring four outstanding performers who impressed during the period.
The nominees for the award are Augustine Okrah, Hussein Issah, Samuel Attah Kumi, and Abdul Raman-Yaya.
Bechem United forward Okrah earned his place on the list after scoring three goals in February while representing Bechem United FC. Although he did not win a NASCO Player of the Match award during the month, his goal contribution stood out.
Young Apostles attacker Hussein Issah also enjoyed a productive spell, scoring two goals in three appearances for Young Apostles FC and collecting one Player of the Match honour.
Bibiani Gold Stars Samuel Attah Kumi delivered a strong performance in three matches, scoring twice and earning a NASCO Player of the Match award for Bibiani Gold Stars FC.
The final nominee, Karela United defender Abdul Raman-Yaya, made two appearances, scored once, and won a Player of the Match award while helping Karela United FC remain unbeaten in the period.
The winner of the NASCO Player of the Month award will be presented with a 43-inch television set and a NASCO double-door refrigerator with a bottom freezer, provided by Electroland Ghana Limited.
