“Ghana Is a Nation of Talent” – Queiroz Backs Black Stars Potential

Carlos Queiroz has praised Ghana’s football heritage and expressed confidence in the potential of the Ghana national football team as he begins his tenure as head coach.

The Portuguese manager highlighted Ghana’s rich history and identity in world football, insisting he arrives with deep respect and belief in what the team can achieve.

“Ghana is a nation of talent, pride, and footballing soul. I arrive with respect for its history and belief in its future,” he stated.

Queiroz emphasised unity, discipline, and ambition as key pillars of his philosophy as he looks to build a competitive team for the World Cup.

Ghana are set to make their fifth appearance at the tournament and have been drawn in Group L alongside Panama national football team, England national football team, and Croatia national football team.

The Black Stars will open their campaign against Panama on June 17, before facing England and Croatia in what promises to be a challenging group.
