Ghanaian youngster Foster Apetorgbor has sealed a move to Norwegian side Sandefjord Fotball as he takes the next step in his professional football career.
The talented midfielder has agreed to a five-year contract with the Eliteserien club and will wear the number 17 jersey at the Jotun Arena.
Apetorgbor began his football development in Ghana, first coming through the ranks at Yejiman Academy before continuing his progress at Achimota Olympiakos during the early stages of his career.
The 18-year-old later joined Nsoatreman FC, where his performances in domestic competitions attracted attention. He was also part of the squad that helped the club secure a historic victory in the 2024 MTN FA Cup.
Before completing his move to Norway, Apetorgbor also trained with African Viking FC, an academy based in Accra that focuses on preparing young talents for opportunities in European football.
Sandefjord will be hoping the Ghanaian midfielder strengthens their squad as the club looks to build on last season’s impressive campaign, which saw them finish fifth in the league and move closer to a potential push for European competition places.
