Pep Guardiola has praised Antoine Semenyo after the Ghana international was crowned Player of the Month for February in the Premier League.
The award comes after an impressive spell from the forward during his early weeks with Manchester City. Semenyo delivered a series of strong performances, scoring three goals and providing one assist in five league matches.
The 25-year-old joined City from AFC Bournemouth in the January transfer window and has quickly adapted to life at the Etihad Stadium.
Ahead of City’s upcoming league encounter with West Ham United, Guardiola spoke highly of the forward and expressed his delight at the recognition he has received.
“I’m so happy for him. He’s an incredible guy, and he deserves it,” Guardiola said during his pre-match press conference.
