Hearts Of Oak to complete their preseason in Togo before the start of the season

Hearts of Oak have announced that they will play a couple of friendlies against Togolese teams before the start of the new season.

Ghanaian giants club confirmed after a series of talks about the place and where to go for their preseason which was moved from Pobiman to Asutsuare in the Greater Accra Region.

The team will also travel to Togo to play a couple friendlies as they fine-tune their new-look squad for the upcoming season.

“On Thursday, the team will shift camp from its Kpobiman base to Asutsuare, where they will spend a period of one week. Whilst at Asutsuare, the players would undergo team bonding and other training regimes to prepare them for the challenges ahead,” the club said in a statement.

“After completing their training at Asutuare, Coach Ouattara and the squad will head to Lome, Togo. There, they’ll engage in friendly matches to fine-tune their skills and teamwork.

Hearts of Oak’s first game of the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season is scheduled against Baseke Holy Stars on September 7, 2024.
