CAF Senior Media Officer, Ibrahim Sannie Daara has expressed his confidence in the leadership of Kurt Okraku, assuring that his administration is working tirelessly to improve Ghana Football.
Despite the heavy criticism for the lack of progress in Ghanaian football with both national teams and domestic leagues seeing a decline under Okraku’s leadership, Sannie Daara remains positive of the current administration.
There have been talks in the country by some high profile sports pundits and fans for Okraku to step down as the FA president, but Daara, in a recent interview, emphasized that Okraku is committed to developing football in the country.
“I’ve known Kurt Okraku for over 10 years, and I can attest to his hardworking nature. When he sets his mind to something, he puts in the effort and achieves it,” Daara told Asempa FM.
“I am confident that Kurt Okraku is doing his utmost to ensure Ghana football improves and reaches new heights,” he added.
