Bournemouth FC and Ghana international forward, Antoine Semenyo wants to emulate Manchester City star Erling Haaland.
The Bournemouth forward in an interview spoke highly of the Man City striker’ potency in front of the goal.
The 24 year old striker has been a standout performer since moving to the Premier League from the German Bundesliga in 2022.
The Man City striker scored 27 goals in 31 games which was a follow up to the 36 he netted in his debut season.
However, the Black Stars forward is aiming to be productive in front of the goal like Haaland..
“That man (Haaland) is tall…strong, fast, he can finish. He’s got everything you need as a striker.
“The aura he has…if he’s on the pitch and if you don’t mark him…he’s gonna score.
“Everyone’s trying to mark him and even if you mark him, he still scores. I remember watching him…this is the kind of striker I want to be.” He said as quoted by Earn Your Stripes.
