It is possible beat Mali in Bamako- Kurt Okraku to Black Stars players

President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kurt Okraku beleives the Black Stars have quality to over their Malian counterpart.

The four-time African champions will clash with the Eagles on June 6 in the Matchday three games of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

The recent performances of the Black Stars have led football fans to question the team ahead of the game.

Mr Okraku, when speaking to the players after their training session on Friday at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium charged the team that they should have the best quality to get the well deserved results against Mali.

“I believe we will go to Mali with all the confidence and quality that we have and put up a good performance that will give us the desired result. This is possible,” he said.

The Black Stars will be hosted at the Stade du 26 Mars with kick-off scheduled at 19:00GMT. The team will continue their preparations later today before jetting off to Bamako on Tuesday.

Ghana will host Central African Republic in the Matchday four games at the Baba Yara Stadium with kick-off also scheduled at 19:00GMT.
