Dreams FC head coach Wilfred Dormon has expressed satisfaction after his side secured a hard-fought 0-0 draw against FC Samartex 1996 in Matchday 25 of the Ghana Premier League.
The tightly contested encounter at the Nsenkyire Sports Arena in Samreboi saw both teams struggle to find a breakthrough in a match that produced few clear scoring opportunities.
Although the Timber Giants pushed forward late in the game in search of a winner, Dreams FC held firm defensively to secure a valuable away point.
Speaking after the match, Dormon acknowledged the strength of Samartex, particularly in the first half.
“It was a difficult game. We knew beforehand that Samartex are very strong at home, so we had to strategize well. Truth be told, Samartex were the better team in the first half,” he said.
He explained that his team had to make tactical adjustments after the break.
“After the break, we made a few corrections to the team and improved our performance. It was a game of two halves, Samartex won the first half and we won the second half, so I am satisfied with the performance and the result,” Dormon added.
The draw helps Dreams FC continue their positive run of form as they work to distance themselves further from the relegation zone in the closing stages of the season.
