John Paintsil FC have been officially crowned champions of the Greater Accra Division Two League Zone 5 after an impressive campaign that concluded with a goalless draw against Progen FC on Saturday at the Adjiringanor AstroTurf.
The championship trophy and medals were presented in a colourful ceremony led by the Greater Accra Regional Football Association (RFA) Chairman, Samuel Aboabire, popularly known as ‘Kataar’, alongside George Aforklenyui, the RFA’s Competitions Manager.
The coronation event was further highlighted by the presence of former Ghana Black Stars striker Baffour Gyan, who added star power to the memorable occasion.
John Paintsil FC’s consistent performances throughout the season secured their top spot in Zone 5, and the team is now poised for the next chapter of their football journey, eyeing success in the upcoming Greater Accra Division Two promotional playoffs.
