Hearts of Oak head coach Nebojsa Kapor says his players are in a confident mood as they prepare for their Ghana Premier League Week 3 meeting with Bechem United on Sunday.
The Phobians have enjoyed a perfect beginning to the 2026/27 league campaign, collecting maximum points from their opening two fixtures.
Hearts opened their campaign in emphatic fashion with a 4-0 victory over Berekum Chelsea before securing another important result away from home, beating Bibiani GoldStars 2-1 at Dun’s Park.
With six points already in the bag, Kapor’s side will now look to make it three wins from three when they welcome Bechem United to the University of Ghana Stadium.
The coach believes the confidence within the squad is growing, with his players showing strong belief in the work being carried out by the technical team.
“Our confidence level is very high and the players believe in whatever we are doing, and we continue our winning path,” Kapor said.
The coach’s comments reflect the positive mood in the Hearts camp following their impressive start. However, the technical team will be conscious of the need for the players to maintain their focus as they face another competitive opponent.
Bechem United have recorded one win and one defeat from their opening two matches. The Hunters began their campaign with a 1-0 victory over Bibiani GoldStars, but their momentum was halted by a 3-1 defeat to Karela United in their second fixture.
They will therefore arrive in Accra determined to bounce back and take points from the league leaders.
Hearts of Oak, meanwhile, will be targeting another three points as they attempt to preserve their perfect record and build early momentum in the title race.
The Week 3 encounter is scheduled for 3:00pm on Sunday at the University of Ghana Stadium, with the Phobians hoping to maintain their winning start in front of their supporters.
