Kwesi Appiah ordered by CAF to step down from one role before Ghana-Sudan match on Friday

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has officially informed Kwesi Appiah to resign from one of his post as the Exco member of the Ghana Football Assoiciation or resign as the Coach of Sudan before the game on Friday.

The former Black Stars coach is currently the head coach of the Sudanese national team and also holds a position as an Executive Council member of the Ghana Football Association (GFA).

However, ahead of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers doubleheader, CAF has informed Appiah to resign from one of his roles before the game.
