Former Asante Kotoko head coach Maxwell Konadu has praised the impact of Mas-Ud Didi Dramani at Hearts of Oak, stating that the club’s decision to hand him the reins is already yielding positive results.
Konadu, who had previously been mentioned as a potential candidate for the Hearts job before Dramani’s appointment, believes the Phobians have every reason to be satisfied with their choice. According to him, the team’s recent displays and consistency in results reflect sound leadership from the technical bench.
Dramani, who signed a two-year deal with the Accra-based side, has overseen a competitive run of form that has kept Hearts firmly in contention in the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season. The club currently sits third on the table with 40 points, just five behind leaders Medeama SC, as the title race gathers momentum.
Speaking in an interview with 3Sports, Konadu highlighted the abundance of capable coaches in the country but stressed that success ultimately depends on making the right appointment.
“If Hearts of Oak have gone for him, the results are now showing that they made the right decision,” he said.
“There are many top coaches in the country. Once you make the right choice and it works for you, then it is fine. So far, he is doing well, and that is good.”
With the season entering a crucial phase, Hearts will be aiming to maintain their strong form under Dramani as they push to close the gap at the summit.
