Former Right to Dream Academy midfielder, Mohamed Diomandé has chosen to represent his home country, Ivory Coast at the national team level.
The 22 year-old who can playmultiple positions on the field can play as a winger is a product of renowned Ghanaian academy, Right to Dream Academy.
Diamande currently plays his club football for Scottish Premiership side Rangers, Mohamed Diomandé has shown a lot of prospects as a young player.
In March, he was handed a call-up by Ghana head coach Otto Addo for the international friendly matches against Nigeria and Uganda.
The player at the time did not honour the invitation but reportedly considered the option of representing the Black Stars.
As the June international break approaches, information gathered indicates that Mohamed Diomandé has decided to represent the Ivory Coast, the country of his parents.
The young talented midfielder is now hoping to get his chance with the Elephants in the upcoming qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
