Morocco, Angola and Libya to represent Africa at 2024 Futsal World Cup in Uzbekistan

Morocco, Angola, and Libya have secured spots in the FIFA Futsal World Cup representing the CAF zone, set to be held in Uzbekistan from September 14 to October 6, 2024.

Morocco claimed the African title with a dominant 5-1 win over Angola in Rabat, attended by CAF President Dr. Patrice Motsepe and FIFA President Gianni Infantino.

Having reached the quarterfinals in the 2021 edition, Morocco aims to build on its three-time African champion status in its fourth World Cup appearance.

Angola, the runners-up, returns for the second time after their 2021 group stage exit.

Libya, the bronze-medalist, seeks to maintain their impressive form after securing their spot by defeating Egypt, displaying resilience and securing a podium finish.
