MTN FA Cup Semi-Final Lineup Confirmed as Aduana FC, Nations FC, Medeama SC and Dreams FC Advance

The semi-final lineup of the 2025/26 MTN FA Cup has been confirmed following the completion of the quarter-final matches played over the weekend.

Fixtures took place at the Cape Coast Stadium and Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park, producing four teams that will now compete for a place in the final of Ghana’s biggest domestic cup competition.

Aduana FC were the first team to secure qualification after an impressive 3-0 victory over Techiman Liberty Youth FC on Saturday at Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park. The Dormaa-based club delivered a dominant display to progress comfortably into the last four.

At the same venue on Sunday, Nations FC also advanced following a tense encounter with Berekum Chelsea FC. The match ended goalless after regulation and extra time before Nations held their nerve to win 4-3 in a penalty shootout.

The result sets up a semi-final clash between Aduana FC and Nations FC, with both clubs aiming to win the FA Cup for the first time.

In the other semi-final, Medeama SC will face Dreams FC in an all-Ghana Premier League encounter.

Dreams FC reached the semi-finals after defeating Heart of Lions FC 4-3 on penalties following a 1-1 draw after extra time at Cape Coast Stadium.

Later on Sunday at the same venue, Medeama SC overcame Attram De Visser Soccer Academy in dramatic fashion. Young forward Kelvin Nkrumah scored a stunning extra-time hat-trick to secure a 3-0 win for the Tarkwa-based club.

The semi-final between Medeama and Dreams promises to be a fascinating contest, with Medeama chasing a third FA Cup title, while Dreams FC aim to move closer to lifting the trophy for a second time.

The FA Cup Committee is expected to announce the dates and venues for the semi-final matches in the coming days.

The eventual champions will also earn the right to represent Ghana in the 2026/27 CAF Confederation Cup.
