Nations FC will be aiming to build on their recent momentum when they welcome Bechem United to the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex on Friday for a Ghana Premier League clash.
The Abrankese-based outfit head into the fixture on a positive note after securing an important away victory over Techiman Eleven Wonders at the Swedru Sports Stadium last weekend.
That triumph marked Nations FC’s first win on the road this season and helped lift them back into the top half of the league standings.
At home, Nations have been particularly solid throughout the campaign. Coach Frimpong Manso’s side are yet to suffer defeat in 12 league matches at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex, registering seven victories and five draws. Their defensive stability has been a key factor, conceding only seven goals while scoring 15 during that unbeaten home run.
Following 24 matches in the league, Nations FC currently occupy 10th place with 31 points. They have found the net 21 times while allowing 22 goals at the other end.
Bechem United arrive for the contest sitting three places below their hosts in 13th position with 30 points from the same number of games. The Hunters are seeking a return to winning ways after going two league matches without victory, most recently playing out a goalless draw against Karela United at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park.
The visitors have struggled to pick up results away from home this season. In 11 matches on the road, Bechem United have managed just two draws while suffering nine defeats, scoring eight goals and conceding 23 in the process.
Recent meetings between the two clubs have often been closely fought. Since December 2023, the sides have faced each other five times, with Bechem United claiming two wins while the remaining three matches ended in draws. Their most recent encounter, played in October 2025, finished in a 0-0 stalemate.
