Nsoatreman FC to face TP Elect Sport in the first round of the CAF Confederation Cup preliminary matches

Nsoatreman FC is drawn to play TP Elect Sport from Chad in the first round of the preliminary game of the CAF Confederation Cup after Thursday’s, July 11, 2024, draw at the CAF headquarters in Cairo, Egypt.

The club’s historic FA Cup victory last month secured their spot in the inter-club competition, and they are now poised to make their debut on the continental stage.

Under former coach Maxwell Konadu, Nsoatreman FC defeated regional rivals Bofoakwa Tano 4-3 on penalties to clinch their first-ever FA Cup title.

The nsoatre base club yesterday appointed former Black Stars striker Yaw Preko as a replacement for former coach Maxwell Konadu in a two-year deal to lead the team in the upcoming season.

The team will play their home games at the famous Kumasi’s Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi after CAF after CAF declared their home ground in Nsoatre as not fit host it games.

The preliminary round kickoff is scheduled for August, and Nsoatreman is ready to make their mark in the CAF Confederation Cup 2024/2025 season.

The winner of the Nsoatreman FC vs TP Elect Sport game will face the winner between CS Constantine vs AS Police in the second round of the Preliminary game.
