Reigning FA Cup winners Nsoatreman FC have unveiled Yaw Preko as the club’s new head coach ahead of the upcoming campaign.
The former Ghana international replaces Maxwell Konadu, who left the club to join Black Leopards in South Africa.
The Ghana Premier League club settled on the former Great Olympics and Medeama coach as Konadu’s replacement and has been duly unveiled by the club.
Preko signed all the necessary document during his unveiling on Monday, July 8, 2024 in Nsoatre.
The 49 year old former Black Stars striker signed a two-year deal to join the FA Cup winners and is expected to continue the good work of Konadu at the club.
“Coach, on your part, Nsuatre is a small community but our passion for the game is huge. Our people want you to have a winning mentality, winning away and at home. This is what we want from you. I am there support you. Whenever there is a challenge, let me and my board know,” Club owner and chairman Hon Dr. Baffour Awuah said during the unveiling.
“We wish you all the best. We want to make an impact in Africa and thank you for accepting to work with us,” he added.
