OH Leuven strengthen attack with signing of Ghana winger Emmanuel Addai

Belgian Pro League side OH Leuven have bolstered their attacking department with the signing of Ghanaian winger Emmanuel Addai, who has penned a contract that will keep him at the club until 2028.

The 24-year-old joins Leuven after completing a successful spell with Azerbaijani champions Qarabag, where he developed into one of the club’s most influential attacking players on both the domestic and European stage.

Addai arrives in Belgium on the back of an impressive 2025/26 campaign, making 47 appearances across all competitions while contributing seven goals and four assists. His performances in the UEFA Champions League particularly caught the eye, as he featured in 10 matches against elite opposition, including Chelsea, Liverpool and Newcastle United, and found the net in Qarabag’s victory over FC Copenhagen.

His consistent displays attracted interest from a number of European clubs, but OH Leuven ultimately won the race for his signature as they continue to strengthen their squad ahead of the new Belgian Pro League season.
