Coach Otto Addo has announced Black Stars squad for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifying opening games today.
Ghana will host Angola in their Group F opener on September 5 at the Baba Yara Stadium before travelling to play Niger away in four days.
However, in a presser at the GFA headquarters in Accra, the coach announced a 26-man squad to face Angola and Niger in the upcoming AFCON qualifier. The team will open camp on the 2nd September, 2024 in Accra before jetting off to Kumasi for the game.
Otto Addo and his boys will be hoping to continue their impressive performance against Angola and Niger having recorded back-to-back wins against Mali and Central African Republic in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers in June earlier this year.
