Antoine Semenyo says he is eager for the crucial stage of the season after being named February’s Player of the Month in the Premier League.
The Manchester City forward earned the award after an impressive run of form that saw him score three goals and register one assist in five league matches during the month.
For the Ghana international, the accolade represents another major highlight in what has been a breakthrough campaign.
“This is a brilliant moment for me. To win the Premier League Player of the Month award so soon after joining City is something I’ll never forget,” Semenyo said.
Despite the recognition, the striker insists his focus remains on helping City finish the season strongly as the club battles for silverware.
“My focus now is to keep improving and help City achieve the best possible results. There is still so much to play for, and I’m really excited about the final part of the season.”
Semenyo has enjoyed the most productive season of his career so far, scoring 15 league goals in the current campaign.
His tally places him among the leading scorers in the Golden Boot race, behind only Erling Haaland and Igor Thiago.
With Manchester City still challenging for honours on several fronts, Semenyo’s form could play a decisive role as the season approaches its closing stages.
