Tottenham to Face Liverpool Without Ghana Star Mohammed Kudus

Mohammed Kudus will miss Tottenham Hotspur’s upcoming Premier League clash against Liverpool FC as the Ghana international continues to recover from a thigh injury.

The 25-year-old midfielder has been out of action since early January after suffering the setback and remains unavailable for the trip to Anfield this weekend. His recovery has already kept him on the sidelines for nearly two months.

Tottenham are dealing with a major injury crisis ahead of the match, with as many as 13 first-team players unavailable, leaving the squad significantly weakened for the challenging encounter.

Head coach Igor Tudor has urged his players to remain determined despite the difficult circumstances surrounding the team.

“You can cry or you can fight,” Tudor told his squad ahead of the match.

The Croatian manager, who is still seeking his first victory since taking charge, will have to navigate the fixture without several key players due to injuries and suspensions.

Kudus’ absence may also affect his involvement with the Ghana national football team ahead of their upcoming international friendlies against Austria national football team on March 27 and Germany national football team on March 30, with the Black Stars closely monitoring his recovery.

Since completing his move from West Ham United, Kudus has contributed three goals and six assists in 26 appearances across all competitions in his debut season with Tottenham.

Spurs currently sit 16th in the Premier League table, while Liverpool, who are sixth, will look to take advantage of Tottenham’s depleted squad when the two sides meet on Sunday.
