Medeama Sporting Club Technical Director, Evans Augustine Adotey has talked about the team’s inability to defend their Ghana Premier League title to the stress of participating in multiple competitions.
In an interview with 3sports, the TD said the many travels to honour matches were so exhausting for the team and affected their performance.
“If you review my report, you’ll see that we didn’t have it easy. Travelling, playing away from home, and the constant engagement in outstanding matches took its toll. After playing an outstanding game in the Premier League, we had to travel back to Cape Coast, and sometimes we travelled from Kumasi to Tarkwa or from Tarkwa to Cape Coast. It was exhausting,” Evans Adotey said.
“These were some of the factors that contributed to our exit from the tournament” He concluded.
Evans Adotey is confident that Medeama SC will be able to win back the Ghana Premier League title this season if they work hard.
