Ghana’ U17 side – The Black Starlets – will take on their Ivorian counterparts in the opening clash of the 2024 WAFU Zone B U17 Championship which kicks off this month.
This follows the release of the fixtures by the WAFU Zone B secretariat on Tuesday.
Hosts Ghana will face off with Ivory Coast on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at the University of Ghana Stadium in Accra.
Following this, defending champions Nigeria will take on Burkina Faso on Thursday, May 16, 2024, promising another thrilling match. Additionally, Togo is scheduled to clash with Niger on Matchday Two.

The competition, slated to run from May 15 to May 29, 2024, will be held at the University of Ghana Stadium.
The participating teams include reigning champions Nigeria, host nation Ghana, as well as Cote D’Ivoire, Benin, Niger, Togo, and Burkina Faso.
These teams will vie for the prestigious title and a chance to secure a spot in the upcoming TotalEnergies U-17 Africa Cup of Nations.
