Ghanaian giant Kumasi Asante Kotoko’s head coach, Prosper Narteh Ogum stressed on their outstanding fixture against Nsoatreman FC on Wednesday, October 2 at the Obuasi Len Clay stadium in Obuasi at 3:00 om local time.
The coach stressed that their aim is to get an early goal as he feels that it will help them take total control of the game till full time.
The game against the FA Cup champions was supposed to be honoured in match-week 2 but had to be rescheduled due to the visitors CAF Confederations Cup campaign.
The Porcupine Warriors after three matches; have two draws and a win and are 5th on the league table with 5 points. nothing but a win this time to maintain their unbeaten start to the new campaign.
Speaking ahead of the game, Ogum is aiming at an early goal to help them play to their pattern and added they will definitely carry the day if they make good use of the chances that will come their way.
“We need to try as much as possible to bury the chances that come our way early in the game so that we can settle into the game, have our rhythm and then get into our flow and make sure that we play within our game structure. I think if we are able to convert the chances early it will give us some stability and rhythm in the game,” Coach P.N Ogum said.
