“We’ll Rotate the Squad” – Nagelsmann Plans Changes Ahead of Ghana Clash

Julian Nagelsmann has confirmed he will rotate his squad as Germany national team prepare to face Ghana national team in their upcoming international friendly.

The four-time world champions head into the fixture on the back of strong form, having extended their winning streak to six matches following an entertaining 4-3 victory over Switzerland.

Speaking ahead of the game, Nagelsmann revealed that changes will be made to give opportunities to players returning from injury and others in need of game time.

“Tomorrow’s game is a bit different because we have to rotate a bit more in order to play some players who may have come from injury,” he said.

The German coach is expected to balance experimentation with competitiveness as his side continues preparations for future tournaments.

The encounter also rekindles memories of the last meeting between the two nations at the 2014 FIFA World Cup, where both sides played out an exciting 2-2 draw.

With both teams using the match as part of their build-up plans, the fixture is anticipated to offer a competitive test despite the expected squad rotations.

The match will be played at the MHPArena in Stuttgart, with kick-off scheduled for 18:45 GMT.
