The Inter Tribe Football Gala has reached its semifinal stage, with two thrilling matches scheduled for Monday and Tuesday.
Two debutant teams, Waala and Builsa, have made it to the last four, aiming to make history by lifting the ultimate trophy.
*Fulani vs Builsa*
Fulani, who eliminated the defending champions in the quarterfinals, will face Builsa on Monday.
Fulani are on an unbeaten run, having overcome Moshie and Chokosi in the knockout stage.
Builsa, who defeated Wangara in the round of 16 and Kotokoli in the quarterfinals, hope to emulate Songhai’s feat in the second edition by becoming the second debutant to reach the grand finale.
*Waala vs Zabarma*
Waala, another debutant, will face Zabarma on Tuesday. After a initial defeat to Kotokoli, Waala have become the team to beat, overcoming Gonja and Hausa to reach the semifinals.
Zabarma, brimming with confidence, have scored the most goals in the competition (9 in 5 matches). They defeated Frafra in the round of 16 and Dagomba in the quarterfinals.
